The Artist

Kat Gannon began making jewelry while attending Moore College in Philadelphia, where she studied fashion illustration. After she took her degree in Design, an internship at Macy's Corporate Offices led to a position as Assistant Designer. Later she enhanced her bench skills at the New Approach School in Virginia Beach while mastering stone setting. Most recently, Kat received certification as a Diamond Graduate after completing courses in diamond-grading at the Gemological Institute of America.

While her style evolves as she pursues new ideas, she always manages to combine an intense feeling for the physicality of her materials with a sophisticated vision of the finished object. Kat's pieces are playful yet passionate, and every one is strikingly original.
